In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five social networking applications in Estonia displayed diverse performance trends across downloads and revenue, based on data from Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Messenger experienced stable weekly revenue, maintaining around $1 to $2 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads for the app showed fluctuations, starting at 2.2K in late September, peaking at 2.5K in mid-October, and ending the quarter with a slight increase to 2.4K in the last week of December.

Telegram Messenger saw a remarkable rise in weekly revenue, culminating in a significant peak of approximately $2.3K in the last week of December. Downloads for Telegram varied, starting at 2.2K in late September, dipping to around 1.6K to 1.8K for most of the quarter, and finishing with 1.8K in the last week of December.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc., demonstrated a steady revenue stream, with notable peaks at $421 in early November and $375 in early December. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at 1.3K and ending with a peak at 1.6K in the final week of December.

Messenger, also from Meta Platforms, Inc., showed variable revenue trends, with significant peaks of $34 in early November and $23 in late November. Messenger’s downloads were relatively stable, starting at 1.3K in late September and ending with a high of 1.8K in the last week of December.

Google Meet from Google did not generate any revenue throughout the quarter. However, its weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 517 in late September and reaching a low of 201 in the last week of December.
